Why I Believe May 2023 is Historic:
4 Saturdays in May 1983
I. MY FIRST MEETING WITH BOB JONES (MARCH 7, 1983)
A. In May 2023, over
5 million
are praying for Israel for at least 1 hour a day
for 21 days
from 100 countries, with over
7,000 ministries committed to be
hubs
of activity that mobilize prayer. Israel is facing the threat of a civil war. Iran has nuclear weapons amid increasing global anti-Semitism, etc. The Lord has inspired 5 million to function as “a global Daniel” to resist the demonic prince of Persia (10:13) and be a catalyst for
100 million in the global body of Christ
to stand for Israel.
12“Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to...humble yourself before your God, your words were heard...13The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me... (Dan 10:12-13)
B. In our first meeting (March 7, 1983),
Bob Jones gave me many words (which he repeated on many occasions). He said, “
You will help lead a worldwide youth movement
of
singers and musicians
that will be used in power evangelism for the
global harvest
and to mobilize millions in
prayer for Israel.”
C. Bob emphasized that the Lord would place us on
Harry Truman’s property in Grandview
as a prophetic
sign and wonder.
He said that as President Truman was a “
political intercessor” for Israel,
so this movement will be “spiritual intercessors” for Israel. Truman helped in a unique way to establish the state of Israel on May 14, 1948. Many prophecies indicate that Israel would dwell in their land in the end times in context to Jesus’ return (Joel 3:2, 12; Zeph. 3:8; Zech. 12:2-3; 14:2).
1. The Lord stirred us in strong way to ask Him to raise up
100 million
intercessors for Israel.
2. Bob said that this movement would have a strong connection with believers throughout Asia. Multitudes in the rice paddies throughout Asia would see our singers on Truman’s property via unplugged TV sets in their hands (smart phones) and even on their wristwatches.
3. Over the weekend of January 27, 2008, we finalized our purchased
of the 125 acres that Harry Truman had
sold to a
Jewish family exactly
50 years earlier on January 27, 1958.
D. I have been told by Jewish leaders that the Truman property
has a unique importance
with historical value
to Israel—as a very important property to them
(that is outside of the land of Israel itself).
E. We consider the “collective message” from 4 Saturdays in
May 1983
by seeing them as being parts of
one storyline.
In May 2023,
we celebrated our
40th year
since the solemn assembly
in May 1983.
II. SATURDAY #1—MAY 7:
A COMET UNFORSEEN BY SCIENTISTS
WILL BE A SIGN
A. On April 13, the Lord spoke to me about Daniel 9-10 and calling a 21-day fast starting on May 7. The main themes of Daniel 9-10 include the restoration of Israel and her national salvation.
B. On April 14, Bob said that Gabriel visited him, saying, “Give the young man Daniel 9, and he will understand;” the fast would be confirmed by a comet unpredicted by scientists on May 7. On May 7, a local newspaper reported a comet unpredicted by scientists. (It was first seen on April 25.)
C. The Lord supernaturally confirmed May 7, 1983 using Howard Pittman—see his book Placebo.

III. SATURDAY #2—MAY 14: 24/7
PRAYER WITH WORSHIP & GROWING TO 5,000
A. The Lord said, “
I will establish 24-hour
prayer
in the spirit of
The tabernacle of David”
(in context to Psalm 27:4).
The day before this, I had prayed Psalm 27:4 throughout the entire day.
4One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in His temple. (Ps. 27:4)
B. An angel told Bob that 5,000 intercessors would relocate to Kansas City—they would find a new home in Kansas City in context to a flood of the Spirit. The increase from 500 to 5,000 will be by multiplication and then to 10,000 by addition, etc. Bob told me that this increase to 5,000 and more was related to raising up intercessors for Israel on the Truman property. The angel told Bob this would be confirmed as we watched “Mississippi.” About a week later, Bob showed me a newspaper article that reported that 5,000 people moved overnight because of a flood in Jackson, Mississippi.
C. I do not remember the exact day of this prophecy—it was between May 14-17—about one week (plus a day or two) before the Mississippi flood was reported in newspapers on Monday May 23. For more on this see “Contending for God's Promises: 4 Saturdays in May 1983 (Oct. 17, 2021).
D. Israel’s national “birthday” is May 14, 1948—it was 35 years in May 1983 and 75 years in 2023.
IV. SATURDAY #3—MAY 21, 1983:
NO DISEASE
KNOWN
TO MAN WILL STAND
A. God spoke to Bob in a dream and said,
“Psalm 28 is for this people.”
On Saturday, May 21, the Spirit visited me while I was
reading Psalm 28.
I was instantly in a spirit of travail with the feeling of “electricity” resting on my body. I knew it was related to a
promise of the healing anointing.
B. That night I had a
prophetic dream
about this movement
receiving a
powerful healing anointing
that would touch many
in the nations.
The Lord gave me
Matthew 10:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:10.
C. The next morning, Bob said to me,
“You received the
promise of a healing anointing last night.
In my vision last night, the Lord appeared to me
wearing a banner/sash that said, ‘
Jehovah Rapha,
I am the Lord that heals you’
(Ex 15:26).
[Jehovah means the “Lord,” and Rapha means “to heal.”]
The Lord took the banner off and put it on you as a
representative of this movement. He said to you,
‘No disease known to man will stand before this people.’
The Lord told me to declare to you, ‘Matthew 10:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:10—freely you have received, freely give—it is all by grace.’” Bob said, “
There will be some healings today as a token
of what will occur
in a greater measure.”
V. SATURDAY #4—MAY 28, 1983
A. On May 28, 1983,
Bob said that he had good news and bad news.
The bad news—revival was not coming immediately; the spiritual drought over America would continue until
God’s appointed time
to send the rains of the Spirit.
Bob prophesied
a natural drought
in Kansas City lasting
3 months.
B. The good news—the natural rain would come
exactly on August 23
to show that God had sovereignly appointed a day when
the “spiritual drought”
in the US would end.
The natural drought lasted from
July 1–October 1,
1983
It was the second
worst drought on record for
Kansas City
