Happy Mother's Day
to all of the amazing mothers past and
present!
Mothering is the MOST important job on the planet. I couldn't be more grateful for my most amazing mother, sister, and momma friends.
Here is a photo of my beautiful grandmother. My grandfather
built their home from bricks
with his own hands- midwestern
farmers!
Grandpa made the best pickled garlic.
It was my father's job to collect the
ripe eggs!
Not sure how many times Grandpa proposed before she agreed,
but it was at least 7 times
Gram was the Patriarch of Catholicism and my father was the
5th child sent through all 12 years of Catholic Schooling- (alter boy 😂)
She was a completely selfless servant of her family and God,
more beautiful on the inside than she was on the outside!
She's the reason why I Love the Crucifixion, Trinity and Rosary.
She could also play some baseball and dance! During a time of
strong racial division in America,
she played on an African American team.
That's Gram.
